Ultra Safe from Shred Care is our safest and securest way to dispose of confidential waste. The Ultra Safe units have been specifically designed for holding confidential material. Security is assured through its aluminium construction and high security lock. Confidential waste is deposited into the units via a paper slot located at the top of the unit.

The Ultra Safe units are available in three sizes: 70L, 240L and 350L capacity and collections are made weekly, fortnightly or every four weeks – we can advise on the most suitable collection frequency depending on the volume of waste that is produced.

On each collection we exchange the Ultra Safe unit storing the confidential material with an empty Ultra Safe unit. By not emptying the unit on site the risk of the confidential material being intercepted or accidentally mislaid is eliminated.

The Ultra Safe unit is taken to a secure vehicle fitted with tracking devices, two way communications and an alarm. (The units will not be opened until they reach our high security service depot.)

The units are taken to the nearest service depot where access is granted via a security corridor monitored by cameras. The units are emptied into high capacity industrial shredders where the confidential material is shredded beyond recognition.

As an environmentally responsible company, the shredded paper is bailed and sent for recycling within the UK. We can therefore provide a full audit trail from collection to shredding to the recycled product available for purchase.

Once your confidential waste is destroyed a Certificate of Destruction is issued.
